I hate
When people curse every other word. Does that book have to be a Mother fucking book? Why can't it just be a book?
A black girl thinks: Community college should be free
We are all paying for an education that isn't going to get us far unless we go on to get Bachelor degrees. Which requires us to spend more money. But if you are not eligible to be accepted into any 4 year colleges, you need to get an associates. In this day in age there are very few jobs that will hire someone with just a high school diploma or GED. Everyone needs at least an associates degree. It should be made as common and simple as getting a high school diploma. There are already students who don't have any intentions of going further than an associates degree, as well as many students using community college as their starting point. It should be made easier for them, for us. An associates degree is not the equivalent to a bachelors and not too much better than a high school diploma/GED, so why must we pay for these classes? Making community colleges free will help each and every community and society as a whole. For more people will be getting higher education, more people will be working, and that will lower that poverty rate for our nation.

One Night Stand- Keri Hilson ft. Chris Brown
I love this song and video. It has such a 90's feel and the 90's was the best time for R&B music. In my opinion.

A black girl thinks: Weirdness is in the eye of the beholder
What you think is weird is your opinion. It is not a general statement. I met someone who called themselves weird and that was wrong to me. If you think you're weird, or different, or that you don't belong that seems to me that you're insecure. You're basing your personality on what others think is "weird". If you accept yourself for who you are everything you do should be perfectly normal to you, because it is you. Also what you think is weird may not be what others think is weird, no matter who else. We're all different, we all have different perspectives, opinions, and views. Personally, I don't think I'm weird. No I have not met the person almost exactly like me and who agrees with me on everything, and I probably never will. But that does not mean I'm weird... Everyone else is, lol.

Alexander McQueen: Savage beauty, MET
This spring Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York is to host Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, celebrating the late designer’s extraordinary contribution to fashion. The landmark exhibition will chart McQueen’s 19-year rise from enfant terrible to one of the leading designers of our time. Curator Andrew Bolton, working in conjunction with Sam Gainsbury and Joseph Bennett, the production designers responsible for McQueen’s extravagant fashion shows, has organized the exhibition thematically, in keeping with recurring concepts inherent within the designer’s work. “His fashions were an outlet for his emotions”, Bolton explained, “an expression of the deepest, often darkest, aspects of his imagination. He was a true romantic in the Byronic sense of the word – he channeled the sublime.” Rooms, including ‘Romantic Gothic’ and ‘The Savage Mind’, will delve deep into McQueen’s characters, and his obsession with Romantic literary traditions. The exhibition, which will be held in the second-floor Cantor galleries, will feature approximately 100 pieces designed by McQueen. Signature designs, including McQueen’s iconic bumster trouser, will be on display. Taken primarily from the McQueen archive in London, the exhibition will be supported by garments from the Givenchy archive and private collections. Pieces from longtime collaborators milliner Philip Treacy and jeweler Shaun Leane will also be on display. The exhibition launch will coincide with the Met’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit, with Honorary Chairs François-Henri Pinault and Salma Hayek, a fitting nod to the theatricality that characterized the designer. Thomas P.Campbell, Director of the Museum commented, “Alexander McQueen’s iconic designs constitute the work of an artist whose medium of expression was fashion. This landmark exhibition continues the Museum’s tradition of celebrating designers who changed the course of history and culture by creating new possibilities.” From May 4 – July 31 2011

I don't like posting about celebrities but this really bothers me
AM DRAMA: Word on the web is that Chris Brown had an outburst in his dressing room after an interview this morning on Good Morning America. TMZ is reporting that he allegedly stormed into his dressing room after the interview screaming so loud that hair and make-up called security. While in his dressing room he ripped his shirt off and after he exited his dressing room Security saw that a chair had been thrown at a window facing 43rd and Broadway. The chair didn’t go through the window but shards of glass fell onto the sidewalk below.

What triggered this? Host Robin Roberts asked him questions about his past incident with Rihanna instead of focusing on his new album F.A.M.E. thats in stores today. TMZ is reporting that Robin Roberts was given permission to ask questions about Rihanna. Robin Roberts has been telling her staff that she did NOT try to set him up … and insists, “I’m pulling for the guy.” After leaving the GMA studio Robin Roberts tweeted “Sure has been an interesting AM @GMA. Still sorting thru everything myself. Just my 2nd day on twitter, wonder what tomorrow will bring?"
All I can say is that he lied! He's said he was a changed man and clearly nothing has changed at all. Hmph.

Is there anything wrong with being a Go-go dancer?
You know like girls who dance on stage or in cages at night clubs. Just today I was thinking I’d love to be one. I love to dance, I love to move my body to music so why not? It’s not stripping, It’s not prostitution, I’d just do it for fun. What better part time job could you ask for? I’d do it while I’m getting my masters. By then I’ll be 21. It’ll be at night so I could take day classes and I’ll have money. Then when I’m done with my schooling I’ll go into my career as a teacher. But today I said to my mom “I wanna be a go-go dancer” and she hit me with the remote -__-. I told her I was serious and she hit me again. Then she was all like “You’re better than that ! You don’t have to resort to that!” Like I told her I wanted to be a drug dealer or something. I didn’t even think it was such a big deal to her. I still think it’ll be really cool to be a go-go dancer and I still want to be one. What do you guys think?
