[Day 09]: Why was is that in a lot of different cultures the men always used to come first and never the women?
It's the whole hero/golden boy thing. Like the theory, when a man saves a woman's life and she falls in love with him. Men are usually the ones with the strength/physical power and the ones who go out and get the food. Men are the protectors and that role get more praise than the roles women usually play. Such as the provider and caregiver. Just the way it is. Now, of course things are changing.
